  Why Public Service Campaigns?  Why is CBM conducting public service campaigns?

Those who claim to be so concerned with women being educated regarding the most recent information on methods for preventing breast cancer, for decreasing the life-time risk of contracting breast cancer, and for the 'most effective' methods for treating breast cancer, interestingly insist that women must be "protected" from learning of the abortion - breast cancer link [the ABC-Link], i.e. they must be kept ignorant of the abortion - breast cancer link, or lied to about it.

Why?  Why do you think that is?  Why do you suppose?

Astoundingly, they insist that women are not capable of properly 'dealing' with this information, and frankly cannot be trusted with it; that they must be shielded from it, that the ABC-Link information must be censoriously kept from girls, young women, women of child-bearing age, and from all those who may influence their 'informed' decision-making regarding 'choosing' elective abortion.

Could the abortion 'industry', the affiliated vested interests, and the abortion promoting forces possibly have an axe to grind at your expense and at that of girls, young women, and women of childbearing age everywhere?  Do they have something to hide?

We think you deserve to know what has been discovered concerning the abortion - breast cancer link during more than four decades, yes over a span of more than forty years! without being communicated (much less, widely publicized) for the public to consider.

Instead, this information, the facts, the findings have been deliberately concealed, denied, trivialized, scandalized, and slandered, and all in the guise of serving a girl's, a woman's, best interests.

It has been a long costly uphill battle for us to bring this vital life and death information to you, i.e. six years in the making thus far.

Joel Brind, Ph.D., previously had noted that, "Putting it all together, the latest count of all published worldwide data specifically relating to induced abortion and breast cancer incidence has 24 out of 29 studies showing increased risk overall in the population studied."

. If 'legalized' elective abortion is therapeutic, medicinal, safe, ..., for the mother (which was the purported basis or rationale for the 'legalization' of induced abortion), then:

  1. Why is it that prior to legalization of abortion in America the incidence of breast cancer in women was recognized to be 1 in 14, and now it is recognized to be 1 in 8 (practically a doubling)?
  2. How can you account for virtually a doubling in the incidence of breast cancer within considerably less than one single generation (as the dramatic increase in incidence has been noted for years now), while adamantly insisting that it cannot possibly be attributable to the 'quantum' leap in the prevalence of abortion witnessed during this same period of time?
  3. Why is the incidence of breast-cancer higher for those who have chosen to abort, or who have had others choose for them to abort, than it is for the general population of women, if abortion is not responsible?
  4. Why is there a more virulent, recurrent strain of breast cancer associated with those who have aborted one or more babies, but not associated with women who have not undergone abortion procedures?
  5. Why has the age of onset of breast cancer fallen (while life-expectancy for the general population, including women, has risen)?
  6. Why is there an earlier onset of breast cancer seen with those who have aborted?
  7. Why are women as young as in their twenties now being stricken with breast cancer?!  
  8. How do you account for these remarkable changes, i.e. a great increase in the incidence of breast cancer, and a stunning lowering of age of onset of breast cancer, while at the same time, so much greater expenditures have been made on research, and public education, regarding prevention, detection, and treatment of breast cancer (which should have resulted in the exact opposite of what has happened)?
  9. Why has the lifetime risk of contracting breast cancer for black women soared since legalization and government funding of abortion?
  10. How is it that in less than one generation black women have gone from enjoying a significantly lower lifetime risk of contracting breast cancer than white women, to suffering a significantly higher lifetime risk of contracting breast cancer than white women?!  [and this while white women's risk has also increased]
  11.   Why is it that incidence of breast cancer has soared world-wide, while the officially recognized risk factors and purported risk factors associated with breast cancer have not been seen universally, but an enormous increase in the officially denied risk factor abortion is witnessed universally, e.g. in Russia, China, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Israel, the USA?
  12.   Why is it that the one glaring common thread risk-factor abortion is evidenced absolutely everywhere that breast cancer has become epidemic?
  13.   How can anyone dare to deny the ABC-Link, when there is so much published documented evidence of it, going back 43 years now, while also stating that "we do not know what causes breast cancer"?
  14.   How can anyone dare to insist that there is no ABC-Link, while they flip-flop over whether smoking is a risk factor?
  15.   How can anyone that claims smoking is the Number one avoidable risk factor for breast cancer by perhaps adding as much as 25% probability to a woman's likelihood of contracting breast cancer, deny induced abortion is an even greater avoidable breast-cancer risk factor, which conservatively increases a woman's lifetime risk by 30%?
  16.   How can any person or organization dare to insist that there is no increased risk of contracting breast cancer for those who have undergone abortions, and thus have delayed the time of their first delivery of a baby, or even been rendered unable to conceive or carry a baby to term, while at the same time having to admit the fact that there definitely is increased risk of contracting breast cancer for women who have not had children, or who have had their first children after the age of 30?
  17.   How can any person or organization dare to insist that there is no increased risk of contracting breast cancer associated with induced abortion, when it has been known for so many decades that lifetime risk of breast cancer is reduced by approximately two-thirds for women who have given birth at a young age and continued to give birth to children, when induced abortion prevents giving birth of children, and indeed can destroy the ability to conceive and give birth, and when induced abortion is most commonly resorted to, to prevent development, growth, and birth of first babies?
  18.   Why is it that women who are diagnosed as having breast cancer while they are pregnant are routinely advised to abort their babies, even though studies show aborting the babies to be disastrous for the women's survival, i.e. the very worst possible course to follow?
  19.   Why is it that women who become pregnant after having had breast cancer are typically advised to abort their babies, even though studies show that carrying the pregnancies to term is better for the women's survival?
  20.   Why is it responsible, professional, and compassionate for medical professionals to use their position, influence, and persuasion to recommend that young, healthy, disease-free women with a family history of breast cancer undergo expensive, maiming, mutilating, defeminizing, life-damaging, radical 'prophylactic' dual mastectomies, and dual oophorectomies (surgical removal of ovaries, female castration), to purportedly prevent these healthy young women from possibly contracting breast cancer, sometime in the indeterminate future, while it is "anti-woman terrorism" to communicate the truth of the abortion - breast cancer link, so that girls, young women, and women of childbearing age might be informed of the breast cancer risks directly associated with abortion, prior to electing to "choose" abortion?
  21.   Why is it so popular in the media to communicate any 'news' about breast cancer, while it is utterly taboo to communicate word of the long-established truth of the abortion - breast cancer link?
  22.   Why is it that the major media reports on none of these things, and chooses not to investigate any of these things?
  23.   Why is it that the major media when confronted with the truth of the abortion - breast cancer link, rather than honestly investigating it and reporting on it, instead actually engages only in the following: denial and black out - nonreporting, trivializing, and attack journalism - scandalizing and slandering? 

    Why?  What are they afraid of?  Are they afraid of the public learning the truth of the abortion - breast cancer link?

  24.   Do the ideological ties* of those controlling the major media have anything to do with their aversion to telling the truth about the abortion - breast cancer link? 

    [* The New York Times has perennially been a major supporter of Planned Parenthood, the largest 'provider' of abortion 'services' in America.]

  25.   Why is it that the government agencies responsible for breast cancer research, prevention, cures..., investigate none of these questions regarding a link between abortion and breast cancer, and report on none of these things?
  26.   Why is it that these same taxpayer-funded government agencies have actually engaged in attacking attempts to communicate the truth of the Abortion - Breast Cancer Link, when attempts have been made to inform taxpayers and all members of the public of the  abortion - breast cancer link?
  27.   If the government agencies: HHS and its branches NIH, CDC, NCI...actually reported the truth concerning the abortion - breast cancer link would it perhaps endanger the abortion 'industry's'* capacity to continue to receive enormous amounts of taxpayer extracted funding from the government?

    [* Planned Parenthood Federation of America perennially receives many tens of millions of dollars in funding from the U.S. Federal Government, which is annually taken from American taxpayers and redistributed to such monstrously anti-charitable organizations as Planned Parenthood.]

  28.   Why is it that the 'breast cancer prevention and cure' organizations and foundations persist in refusing to investigate or report on any of these things, yet continue to enjoy tremendously favorable media coverage?
  29.   Why is it that 'breast cancer prevention and cure' organizations actively oppose girls and women learning of the simplest and surest known means of preventing breast cancer, abstaining from abortion?
  30.   Why is it that 'breast cancer prevention and cure' organizations have collaborated with abortionist groups, and others, and literally lied about the abortion - breast cancer link, even denying that it exists, and in essence encouraging girls, young women, and women of childbearing age to go ahead and abort their babies?
  31.   Is it a coincidence that the Susan G. Komen Foundation which has lied about the ABC-Link, perennially chooses proudly aggressive abortion proponents like Al Gore, and Christine Todd Whitman for their figurehead national chairmen?
  32.   Why is it that abortion, the deliberate taking of innocent human life, enjoys such an extraordinarily exalted status as to forbid any investigation and reporting which might render unfavorable results?
  33.   For how many decades has the abortion 'industry' known of the heightened breast cancer risk associated with elective/induced  abortion?
  34.   Why do the abortion-pushing organizations keep viciously attacking abortion - breast cancer link findings?
  35.   Why is it that epidemiologists at the top of their profession who admit there definitely is an abortion - breast cancer link are afraid to speak out about it, for fear of reprisal and having their careers destroyed by the powers that be? 

    Why are these scientists being intimidated into silence?  And why doesn't the major media care about this censorship?

  36.   Why is it that the lives of girls, young women, and women matter so little as to fail to rate when compared to the 'survival' of the abortion 'industry'?
  37.   Why, why, one and one-half million times WHY in America per year alone, not to mention another 100 million times WHY world-wide per year?

    38. . Whether you are aware of it, or not, the abortion 'industry' has been doing everything in its power, with its enormous wealth, to prevent you from learning of the abortion - breast cancer link, as is seen in its concerted collaborative effort to stop CBM's "Loving, Life-sparing" PSC I (the ABC-Link public health risk disclosure service).  Why do you suppose that this is?

    The abortion 'industry's' feverish efforts notwithstanding, several states have now voted for right-to-know legislation requiring girls and women facing elective abortion, to be informed of the abortion - breast cancer link, with the following warning.

    Aborting any pregnancy, regardless of your age, increases your risk of developing breast cancer later in life.

    If you are under age 30 and have never had a full-term pregnancy, having an abortion also raises your breast cancer risk by preventing the natural lifetime reduction in breast cancer risk that you would obtain if you carry the child to term.

    .. The Biological Facts Support The ABC-Link [from Brind et al., JNCI (1997) 89:588-9]

    1. Estrogens are strong growth promoters of normal and most cancerous breast tissue.

    2. Most known risk factors for breast cancer are attributable to some form of estrogen overexposure.

    3. Maternal estradiol (estrogen) rises 20-fold (2,000 %) during the first trimester of a normal pregnancy, a hormonal influence reversed only in the third trimester.

    4. Pregnancies which abort spontaneously (miscarry) usually generate subnormal amounts of estradiol, and consequently no increased risk of breast cancer is seen in connection with miscarriages.

    5. The incidence of breast cancer is dramatically increased in rats whose pregnancies are aborted (as seen in laboratory studies dating back almost 20 years).

    According to Woman's World February 11, 1997 THE TOP LIFE-SAVER is avoiding cigarette smoke all the time.

    "If you smoke, there are powerful reasons to quit. Women smokers have a 25 percent greater risk of dying from breast cancer...."

    Note: This is stated as being the first of "powerful reasons to quit" (smoking), this is stated as a categorical fact, no reference is made to an amount of smoking (i.e. number of cigarettes smoked per day), nor a duration of smoking (i.e. number of years cigarettes smoked), associated with this alleged absolute 25% greater risk of dying from breast cancer, why not?; furthermore, no mention whatever is made of refraining from elective abortion, in order to achieve a greater reduction in risk of dying from breast cancer, than from refraining from smoking! Why not?!

    As shown in "A Comprehensive Review and Meta-analysis," published in the October 1996 issue of the British Medical Association's peer-reviewed Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, "Putting it all together, the latest count of all published worldwide data specifically relating to induced abortion and breast cancer incidence, has 24 out of 29 studies showing increased risk overall, in the population studied." The magnitude of increased risk conservatively was averaged as being between 30 and 40 percent greater for women having one or more induced abortions than for women not electing to abort their pregnancies. Various individual studies have demonstrated an increased incidence of breast cancer associated with induced abortion, ranging far in excess of this conservatively understated increase (e.g. 190% increase for women having one abortion, 260% for women having two or more abortions. Bu et al., 1995 from China. Yes, interestingly these results were gleaned from women in China, as were the results of a recent landmark study showing no preventive benefit for breast self-exams.

    One day perhaps the truth, that breast cancer prevention can best be summarized as abstaining from abortion will finally be told. [Unfortunately women in China do not have the freedom, do not have the right, to abstain from abortion.]

    . Thus, to put it bluntly, "There are powerful reasons not to abort, even for women who choose to believe there is nothing wrong with abortion, nothing morally repugnant about abortion, nothing unacceptable about abortion."

    Abortion, no thanks, I can live without it, . and so can my baby (babies).

    We look forward to the day when abstaining from abortion will be properly recognized by Woman's World, the medical profession, and people everywhere as truly THE TOP LIFE-SAVER.

    When is the last time you heard this bit of information during the past 26 years in which induced abortion has been 'legal' throughout the United States of America?  Why do you suppose that is?  As Cokie points out, this has been true for some time!

    It might be added that some of these 'pro-choice' 'men' never outgrow their love affair with abortion.


    . One day perhaps the truth, that breast cancer prevention can best be summarized as abstaining from abortion will finally be told.

    Unfortunately women in China do not have the freedom, the right, to abstain from abortion.

    This effort has been attacked by the abortion 'industry,' and effectively aborted by the abortion 'industry,' resulting in approximately 5 Million American girls, young women, and women of childbearing age undergoing induced abortion while being deliberately prevented from being forewarned of the abortion breast-cancer link ramification or side-effect, during the past three and one half years, and that is without taking the rest of the world into account, so the figure should be increased by something like 350 Million, and yes a great many of these additional 350 Million girls, young women, and women of childbearing age would have known about the ABC-Link if the truth had been permitted to be successfully communicated in this nation, instead of being shut down and prevented by the abortion 'industry' and their low friends in high places.

    The abortion 'industry' cover-up of the Abortion Breast-Cancer Link has been monstrously perpetuated for many years, and must be overcome, and to this end CBM will continue its efforts to warn girls, young women, and women of childbearing age away from self-destruction.  We hope we will prevail, for the sake of the girls, the young women, and the women of childbearing age, and all of their families and loved ones.
