The Antichrist: A Profile of the King of the North, and his Kingdom

I certainly wish Churchill had been right, but look about you and you will see that he was not!  And if you cannot see now, you will see in the very near future!  The evil of Josef Stalin was no less than that of Adolph Hitler, and if the evil wrought by all communist regimes were combined, it would be utterly overwhelming.  Still, the evil of the very last evil world regime, which is near to rise, will overshadow all that have preceded it!  Again, the time of the rise of Satan's world regime is near at hand!

And while Churchill was a considerable historian, a tremendous British statesman, and a true British patriot and hero, a giant of the Twentieth Century (nonetheless a flawed one), and familiar with the contents of the Holy Bible, he was nonetheless, clearly lacking with respect to (wrt) understanding of GOD's Word, for the evil represented and personified by Adolph Hitler has never been expunged nor purged from this earth, it is with us today, and will not be removed until the end of this earth at the end of the millennial reign of Jesus CHRIST when Satan shall be loosed from the bottomless pit, and permitted to go forth to gather as many of the people populating the earth to join him in waging war against the Lord Jesus as he can.  Then fire will come down from heaven, destroying all who have joined Satan in going to war against Jesus Christ; Satan will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone (where the false prophet and beast will have already been for 1,000 years), and all of the living and dead will be resurrected and will be judged, with the result that all who have resisted, rejected, and refused the LORD Jesus Christ will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, there to suffer forever.

{Churchill's larger than life failures may be seen in his active acquiescence with Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Harry Truman in yielding all of Eastern Europe to be monstrously enslaved and destroyed by Josef Stalin's satanic communist regime, which did not come one whit behind Hitler's in wickedness, ferocity, hatred of GOD, of Jesus Christ, and of all who are the LORD's, including those whom the LORD has called, e.g., the Jews.  Additionally, after having been immediately turned out of office by the blind, ignorant, foolish, ungrateful, selfish British people, following having lead Britain to victory (& survival!) in WWII, Churchill when he finally had been returned to office, continued the British policy (which he had previously opposed) of shamefully betraying Israel and the Hebrew people, who survived thanks only to God's miraculous intervention.}

These cattle have no choice, but we sinful people will have a choice as to whether we will receive the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name, which number is Six hundred three score and six (aka 666).

Revelation 13:18 "Here is wisdom.  Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."

For those people who yield and receive the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name, there is no forgiveness now nor ever shall be, but only eternal damnation according to GOD's Word in His Holy Bible.  No forgiveness now nor ever, even for those people 'whose heart is in the right place' or who are refusing in their heart of hearts to receive the mark, or number, or name of the Beast (even for those who are "once saved, always saved," & "eternally secure"!).

It will be a tough choice to refuse the seal of ownership of The Beast, as it will mean being executed by The Beast, but given the consequence of receiving Satan's badge of ownership, i.e., eternal damnation, the choice is a painfully simple one!

While there is more than one possibility for the composition of the world-enslaving dictatorship which will control and destroy the whole earth in the near future, the United Nations meets many criteria, and should be seriously considered as the most likely contender, or at the very least as a very active participant in the greatly evil scheme to take over (which God's Word states will succeed).  But whether the UN is the instrument or not, the last world-destroying evil regime will be the last vestige of the regime that Alexander the Great founded, the Macedonian-Greco-Roman Empire (aka the Roman Empire, and the "Holy Roman Empire").

My choices for the name of the Fourth Reich World-Enslavement Empire are Olympia, Vaticus, Romia and Roma Pira:

• Olympia would be in keeping with the Olympic Games (perhaps those benevolent, world-peace and good will 'games' figure prominently in Satan's scheme, as they did at the Summer Olympic Games in Munich, Germany in 1972); Olympia also harkens back to Olympus & Olympia, Greece (as with the Summer games of 2004 being held in Athens, Greece).

The scriptures contained in this chapter are collected from The Book of Daniel, in the section of the Prophets, in the Tanach, i.e., the Old Testament of the Holy Bible; The Second Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Thessalonians (also known as [aka] II Thessalonians), and The Revelation of St. John The Divine (aka Revelation).

Scriptures from II Thessalonians are included to demonstrate that the prophesies in the book of Daniel were not fulfilled prior to Paul's martyrdom, nor have yet been fulfilled, though assuredly these prophecies will be fulfilled in the near future; some purportedly "learned" theologians' claims that these prophecies were fulfilled during the 1st Century A.D. notwithstanding.

And the fourth kingdom [or Reich?] shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.  And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.  And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.  And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men; but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Daniel 7:7-8

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it; and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.  I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.

Daniel 7:19-25

Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.  And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise; and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.  And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

  [So after the arrival of the Dragon (that Old Serpent Satan, the Devil), but before the rise of the antichrist, and the coming of the Beast, the False Prophet, and the Image of the Beast, shall be the rising of 10 kings.  Rather than looking for the antichrist, and trying to guess who he may be, perhaps it would be more advisable to watch for the rising of the 10 kings who will jointly rule the world, with three of those kings falling at the hands of the antichrist shortly after their arrival on the world stage.  The Dragon (Satan), through the antichrist, the Beast, the False Prophet, the Image of the Beast, and all who will serve Satan, will enslave the world's peoples and murder all who will not worship him, and he will destroy the world (for Satan came only to steal, to murder, and to destroy)!]

Daniel 8:3-4

Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.  I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.

Daniel 8:5-14

And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground; and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.  And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.  And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns; and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.

Therefore, the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.

And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land, And it waxed great even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.  Yea, he magnified himself, even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.  And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?  And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; than shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

Daniel 8:16-25

And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.  So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.

Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.  And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.

The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.  And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king [Alexander the Great].  Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.  And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people, And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand: and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Daniel 9:26-27

...:and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week; and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

With leadership like this, what could possibly go wrong?

Intended by way of illustrating - vile with style leadership (but only stylish when in public view); not specifically intended to identify the person of the antichrist, as this may prove to be merely an extremely talented, skillful, deceitful, shrewd, cunning, ruthless, devastatingly successful wanna-be team.  And then again who knows, he sure bears an uncanny resemblance to as sadistic a torturer and destroyer of God's children as this world has ever seen, his spitting image, Nero Caesar; regardless, Billy Boy is very definitely a Bully Boy.

Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.  And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table: but it shall not prosper for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.  Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.  For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.  And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.  And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.  Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.  And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.  But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces; and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.  Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.  He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon [amazingly, God's Word says that of all the people on the earth, the 'children' of Esau and Lot shall escape].  He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.  But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.  And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain: yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
